Is there a dress code?

On Saturday, we request formal attire. We suggest suits or tuxedos for the men, and gowns or midi/knee-length cocktail dresses for the women. Every event will be hosted outdoors so please bring footwear suitable for walking on grass and appropriate layers for the evenings.

How do I book at Dawn Ranch?

The link allows you to reserve Friday and Saturday nights - if you would like to arrive earlier or stay later, please leave a note in the “Special Requirements” field while booking and Dawn Ranch will reach out to you via email. We’ll both be at Dawn Ranch by Thursday - enjoying the river, visiting our favorite places in-town and welcoming our friends and family. We look forward to seeing you!

Are there lodging options offsite?

During the wedding weekend, every room at Dawn Ranch is reserved exclusively for us. The property has ~55 cabins and glamping tents, a pool and river to relax in, and beautiful grounds to play games in and connect. We think it will be fun to have everyone onsite, but we understand if your budget requires you to look elsewhere. If so, please let us know via phone/text so we can help coordinate and ensure we’re fully utilizing the reserved property. Thank you in advance.

What should I pack?

During September in Guerneville, the average high is about 85 degrees and the average low is about 45 degrees - this means that you should bring lots of layers! Stay cool during the days, but make sure you have long pants and sweaters to wear once the sun sets. Do not forget a swimsuit so you can enjoy the pool or river, and athletic shoes if you plan to get out in the redwoods.

Can you share more information about Friday’s BBQ lunch?

For those whose travel plans land them in Guerneville by midday Friday, we invite you to a casual BBQ lunch in the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. The park is a 5-minute drive from Dawn Ranch, and shuttles will be driving back-and-forth between 11 AM and 1 PM on Friday. We’re so excited to share this incredibly majestic grove of coastal redwoods with you all.

What’s the airport shuttle schedule?

We want the airport shuttles to accommodate as many guests as possible so we’re sourcing information about your travel plans before confirming the schedules. Please fill out the Shuttle RSVP ASAP, and expect an email with finalized details in the upcoming months. However, our current plan is to offer 4 shuttles - one coach bus traveling from SFO to Dawn Ranch on Thursday 9/19, another arriving at Dawn Ranch before the 8 PM Welcome Event on Friday 9/20, and finally, 2 buses returning to SFO on Sunday 9/22.
