Eat & Drink

All suggestions with a 10-minute walk from Dawn Ranch.

Dawn Ranch Lodge

Over a year ago we read about a fine dining experience in Guerneville that leverages open-fire cooking and flavors of Uruguay and Argentina. We booked a reservation for dinner and a campsite in town, and the rest is history. Serving breakfast and dinner, dinner reservations recommended.

Main Street Bistro

An expansive menu offering basic pub fare. The Bistro has a spirited live music scene and an eclectic local crowd. Serving dinner.

Piknik Town Market

Really amazing biscuits! Serving breakfast and lunch, as well as offering grab-and-go items.

Boon Eat + Drink

Modern and elevated farm-to-table. Serving dinner, maximum walk-in party size of 6 - no reservations accepted.

River Inn Grill

A classic diner for your All-American breakfast. Also serving lunch.

Trilium Winebar & Taproom

Oysters, small plates and tasting boards. Serving dinner.

Saucy Mama’s

Southern-style cuisine with a Californian twist, directly across from Dawn Ranch. Serving dinner.

The Guerneville Taco Truck

We’ve heard that this taco truck in the Safeway parking lot is the best restaurant in Guerneville. We haven’t eaten here yet, but we do really like the band that plays in this parking lot on Saturday evenings! Serving lunch and dinner, cash only.

Do

At Dawn Ranch

Throughout the weekend, we can’t wait to spend quality time with you at Dawn Ranch. We’re looking forward to lounging by the pool, dipping in the river and going cabin-to-cabin to visit our friends and family.

For those eager to adventure, Dawn Ranch has free bicycle and kayak rentals. For those seeking extra relaxation, the Dawn Ranch Spa will be open throughout the weekend and accepts bookings for massages, facial treatments and more.

In Guerneville

Guerneville is a historic and quirky town. We’ll escape the San Francisco fog during the summer to lounge at Johnson’s Beach and enjoy the redwoods. We hope you can make it to Friday’s BBQ lunch at Armstrong Redwoods Natural State Reserve, but if you can’t we recommend a visit to the coastal redwood grove if you have access to a car or bike. In “downtown” Guerneville, Sonoma Nesting Co. sells great vintage clothes and knickknacks, and Nimble & Finn’s serves delicious small-batch ice cream.

In Sonoma County

With wine country to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west, there are many incredible destinations driving distance from Guerneville. If you have access to vehicle, consider visiting Napa or Sonoma about an hour away — or drive 6 minutes down the road to Guerneville’s own Korbel Winnery.

For stunning coastal views and incredible food, we recommend Cafe Aquatica in Jenner, CA and The Marshall Store (oysters!) in Marshall, CA.
